About the EOLS Rural Literacy Program

The EOLS Rural Literacy Program is available thanks to a Carolyn Watson Rural Oklahoma Community Foundation Fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation grant.

The Muskogee Public Library Adult Literacy Program is offering free online classes for adults (18+) that will begin your journey towards life goals.

This is an opportunity to study for the GED test prep, adult basic education, improve English skills, study for the citizenship test, and improve computer/media skills.

It can be a life-changing decision for you, your family, friends, and community.

There is also special assistance available for qualifying participants who attend classes at our libraries in Hulbert, Westville, Stilwell, Checotah, and Eufaula.

Enrollment starts August 1st, 2025, classes start August 25th, 2025. Contact Penny Chastain 918-682-6657, ext. 101 or pchastain@eols.org for more information.
