01 Dec Hulbert Community Library Offers Many Great Seasonal Activities in December
Hulbert Community Library is offering several free activities this month:
The library will be at the Hulbert Christmas Parade at 4 pm Saturday, December 2.
You can come meet Santa Claus and get pictures with him from 4:30-5:30 pm on Tuesday, Dec. 5.
Trivet-making with Charles Cowart will be held in two sessions, the first at 5 pm Thursday, Dec. 7, and the second at 5 pm Thursday, Dec. 14. This program is for adults to learn how to make your own tile and wooden trivet. Registration is required.
We kick off our new laid-back book club—the “Books ‘n Banter Club” will have its first meeting at 12:30 pm Friday, Dec. 8. There will be light snacks and tea, too! The Hook and Needle Club’s next meeting is at 3:30 pm Tuesday, Dec. 12, and on Dec. 19 and 20, we’ll have a come-and-go Christmas craft for you to enjoy.
We’ll make wooden Christmas ornaments from 5-6 pm Tuesday, Dec. 12, as well. Teens and adults can do this one. Registration is required. Finally, don’t forget we have storytime with Maria every Wednesday at 10 a.m. Bring your family and your little ones 5-and-under and enjoy reading and singing.
