Jeremy Jones has been named the branch manager for the Tahlequah Public Library.

Jones is from Muskogee and has worked for the Eastern Oklahoma Library System for 15 years.

He holds a Bachelor of Science from Northeastern State University and is currently working toward his Masters of Library and Information Sciences degree at the University of Oklahoma.

“I am looking forward to serving the community of Tahlequah,” Jones said. “Libraries play a vital role in building community, fostering educational opportunities, and empowering individuals to succeed in today’s fast-paced world. I am glad to be able to continue these worthwhile goals in Tahlequah.”
