Branch Manager of Tahlequah Public Library

As Branch Manager, you will do more than oversee library operations. You will collaborate with a creative and energetic team, strengthen community partnerships, and help shape a vibrant library where learning, technology, culture, creativity, and community come together.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to foster a positive, professional, and productive work environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patrons, staff, and partners.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing community needs.
Education And Experience
- Master of Library Science or Master of Library and Information Systems (MLS/MLIS) from an ALA-accredited institution.
- Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible library experience, including at least three (3) years of supervisory experience.
- Level VI Oklahoma Public Librarian Certification (or ability to obtain within the required timeframe).
Standard Schedule: 40 hrs. per week; includes some evenings and Saturdays.
Branch Manager II: Beginning salary $61,152.00
