20 May Touch-A-Truck Coming June 1 at the Muskogee Civic Center
Touch-a-Truck, the annual fundraiser for Muskogee Public Library, will be taking place at the Muskogee Civic Center on Saturday, June 1 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sensory Hour will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and is sponsored by the Kelly B. Todd Cerebral Palsy and Neuro-Muscular Center. Admission is $2 per person.
Excitement is in store for the whole family at this wonderful community event. Spend the day exploring the inside of a mobile hair salon, climbing aboard a firetruck, pretending to be a racecar driver, or learning about vehicles that help make our community strong.
Smokey the Bear will be stopping by to help celebrate his 80th Birthday and Zomac School of Music will be keeping crowds entertained with live music. Community resource tables will be inside the Civic Center giving away goodies and useful information.
The Muskogee Public Library will be giving away free books to children while supplies last and will have the Pop-Up Storywalk in use featuring the story, “Trucks on Trucks,” by Sorche Fairbank.
Touch-A-Truck 2024 is made possible by the City of Muskogee working in partnership with the Muskogee Public Library as a fundraiser for the library’s summer reading program. We want to thank all of our community sponsors who have donated time, money, and vehicles to make this event a success.
