2024 Muskogee Touch-a-Truck Coming June 1 at Muskogee Civic Center

Muskogee Public Library’s annual fundraiser for the children’s summer reading program, Touch-A-Truck, began in 2011 when a library assistant brought the idea to then manager Jan Bryant.

Jan brought the idea to Mike Stewart with the City of Muskogee and the two brought the event to life with the help of many wonderful volunteers, library employees, and city employees. Since then, the City of Muskogee has continued as the library’s major sponsor, providing a venue, volunteers, and city trucks for kids to enjoy each year.

For 2024, the City of Muskogee is hosting the event at the Muskogee Civic Center on Saturday, June 1. The Kelly BTodd Cerebral Palsy and Neuro-Muscular Center will again host Accessibility Hour during the first hour of the day. More details will be forthcoming.

Please contact Jennifer Fuller at Muskogee Public Library, 918-683-2846 or jfuller@eols.org, for more information. Volunteers are welcome!
