The Eufaula Memorial Library is hosting STEAM Break from March 18 through March 22. Each day children will have an activity related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.

  • Monday, March 18 at 2:00 p.m.—children will make volcanos and watch them erupt by doing a science experiment.
  • Tuesday, March 19 at 3:30 p.m.—children will learn about circuits using Snap Circuit Jr.
  • Wednesday, March 20 at 2:00 p.m.—children will enjoy the fun of engineering while building with Vex Robotics.
  • Thursday, March 21 at 4:30 p.m.—children will create a custom bracelet that holds a secret message.
  • Friday, March 22 at 12:00 p.m.—children will learn the art of math origami.

On Thursday, March 21 at 2:00 p.m., book club will meet at Eufaula Memorial Library. This is a group of adults who read and discuss a book each month. This month they are reading “Small Great Things” by Jodi Picoult. You can pick up a copy of the book at the library.

We would like to thank the City of Eufaula for doing some spring cleanup around the building. Their hard work has not gone unnoticed. Thank you for trimming the bushes, weed-eating, cleaning out the gutters, and replacing some broken ones.

Friends of Eufaula Memorial Library (FEML) is looking for new members to join and continue to help build the library. Their next monthly program luncheon is at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 15. Contact President Gail Rose at member.FEML@gmail.com to join.
