06 Jun Public libraries have a variety of free research resources
The Eastern Oklahoma Library System is a group of libraries in six counties: Adair, Cherokee, Delaware, McIntosh, Muskogee, and Sequoyah. This library system offers a wide range of resources for everything from genealogy to free, customizable legal document templates to online learning programs for children – all of which are normally only accessed by a paid subscription. Some require use in the library, others are available with your library card number from home.
Children needing homework help, genealogists, the curious, and the college student can all benefit from these great resources. Sign up for a library card online at https://eok.ent.sirsi.net/custom/web/registration/index.html
EOLS Library card holders can use any of these resources for free. Topics include business, genealogy, history, health, homework help, income taxes, jobs, legal, news/newspapers (including vintage newspapers), readers guides, technology, arts, and much more. Visit www.eols.org/research to find more than 45 research resources you can use with your library card.
