Eastern Oklahoma Library System is working to jumpstart your career in 2021. Learn a new skill set, build an updated resume, prepare for interviews – all through online resources anyone can access from anywhere.
Use EBSCO Learning Express. This eLearning site offers robust tools to create resumes, prepare for interviews and build employable skill sets. In addition, students can also use EBSCO Learning Express to prepare for college placement tests, improve core academic skills or pass the GED.
Through March 31, use Microsoft/LinkedIn Learning Online. For the next three months, patrons can sign up and work on up-skilling or re-skilling through LinkedIn Learning Online. Learn relevant skill pathways for in-demand jobs, such as a sales representative, customer service, graphic design, IT support/help-desk and other professional jobs. In addition, all branches have free computers and WiFi access for any who may need them.
Coming soon: Grow with Google. EOLS will offer free online workshops in the coming months as part of its partnership with Grow with Google, a free training, tools and resource website to help people grow job skills. Call your local branch to find out more information and when online workshops will start.
