Winter Reading 2026: Read with Benny
This January and February, we are partnering with Steps to Literacy for our Winter Reading 2026 challenge, featuring Beanstack’s beloved mascot, Benny the Bean. Readers of all ages are invited to kick off the new year by building strong reading habits and sharing the joy of reading with others.
Participants will earn fun, Benny-themed digital badges for logging reading and completing activities. As badges are earned, readers will also receive tickets that can be entered for a chance to win one of two prize packs.

2026 Reading Challenge: Read It Your Way (All Year Long)
Welcome to a new year of reading freedom! The 2026 Reading Challenge is a year-long challenge that encourages readers to explore a variety of genres and categories while reading in the way that works best for them.
Participants are encouraged to choose at least one book from a different genre or category each month, helping expand reading horizons while keeping the challenge flexible and fun.
No matter how you read—by turning pages, swiping a screen, or listening with your ears—this challenge celebrates reading on your own terms.
