The Eastern Oklahoma Library System provides more than 70 free databases and apps for research of all kinds at eols.org/research.
Categories include literacy, GED study and adult education, practice tests (including driving, US Citizenship, military exams, ACT, SAT), technology, health and wellness, hobbies and crafts, becoming a US Citizen, readers’ resources, small business resources, local newspapers (those that are online in the system’s six counties), children’s activities, legal resources, tax help, career tools, language courses, history, genealogy, college resources, academic research, educator resources, homework help, academic research for elementary school, middle school, high school, and college students.
The new page lists databases by category via text list or icon list. In addition, an alphabetized list of all databases is located on the right. Patrons who prefer the classic version can click on the icon at the top of the page to return to the classic view.
These resources allow patrons to use many programs and apps for free that typically charge fees for use.

Genealogy—look up ancestry in Muskogee County, Adair County, Delaware County, McIntosh County, Sequoyah County and Cherokee County online, find historical fire maps and land records, look up the history of a house or business, search city directories, search historical newspapers, and much more.
Legal resources—download and print divorce papers, download and print eviction notices, download and print simple contracts and other legal documents, research court cases, legal research, legal academic research, read legal briefs, read historical history cases, and much more.
Homework resources—free online tutoring for elementary students, free online tutoring for middle school students, free online tutoring for high school students, free online tutoring for college students, research databases, homework help, math instructions, help for parents who are homeschooling, lessons and resources for homeschoolers, and much more.
Other resources—online classes, online courses, learn how to use Photoshop, learn how to use Premiere Pro, learn basic computer skills, practice for the US Citizenship test, practice for the SAT, practice for the Oklahoma driving test, and much more.
