Successful candidate will provide a high level of customer service to all library users.
Qualifications: BA/BS and 3 years related library experience, MLS/MLIS preferred. Experience developing programs for children and teens. Prefer quality oral and written communication skills and excellent computer skills. Provides a high level of customer service by offering a full range of reader’s advisory services to all users, especially youth.
Duties will include planning, creating and organizing displays and children’s programming. Will provide outreach to the public, including students, school personnel and community organizations and business. May grow to include managing the library when the manager is out. Will assist in maintaining the youth materials collection.
Salary dependent on level of experience and library education, starting at $35,235 plus excellent benefits. 40 hrs. per week, includes some evenings and Saturdays.
