Works closely with the Information Technology Manager. Technology outreach assistant will drive to branch locations often; provide outstanding customer service by providing technical support and troubleshooting to staff; assist staff at branches with the use of computers and peripherals and responds to computer-related questions; performs a variety of technical tasks in support of library hardware and software. Provides computer training and written documentation to staff.
Qualifications: Associates Degree and 1 to 3 year’s related experience OR equivalent combination of technical training and expertise. Experience with a wide variety of library and other appropriate hardware and software. Driver’s license required.
Other duties as assigned.
40 hours per week. $15.35 an hour and excellent benefits.
