Assists in directing strategic and system-wide planning for marketing, staffing and technology services.
Qualifications: MLS/MLIS and five or more years of public library administration experience.
The Assistant Director is a member of the Senior Staff. Creates and oversees the System’s training – including developing and implementing a System-wide staff training program. Oversees our digital presence. Collection Development assistance for all branches, especially E-material collection. Oversees the IT dept. Other duties may include Strategic Planning including evaluating and implementing services. May assist in hiring staff in 15 branches.
Full-time position. Beginning Salary $60,350. Excellent benefits, negotiable relocation assistance available.
