Grove Public Library Announces New Grant-Funded Musical Garden

Grove Public Library is delighted to introduce a new musical garden to the community. With flower drums, musical mushrooms, chimes, congas, and more, the garden provides a unique space for people of all ages to let their inner musicians bloom. This unique garden is a fascinating platform for people to experiment with different sounds, rhythms, beats, and collaborate with one another to make beautiful music together.

A canopy for shade and plenty of seating also creates an outdoor space for group activities. This project was made possible by the generous support of the Friends of the Library, who were awarded a grant under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

Grove Public Library is deeply grateful to the Delaware County Commissioners for awarding our Friends the ARPA grant.

We offer special gratitude to the City of Grove for the assembly of the shade structure and slab, and to the Grove Rotary Foundation for funding the benches that will soon be installed. Lastly, we would like to thank our volunteers for their extraordinary efforts in making our vision a reality—it would not have been possible without them.

The Grove Public Library is open from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, and 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Activities and programs at the library include arts and crafts, exercise, science, technology, and much  more for all ages. Visit the library event calendar at eols.org/events to learn more.
